Bupa is wonderfully supportive of it’s customers. A Brisbane based family had a premature delivery at 25 weeks. The story was intended for social media and the Bupa Blue Room online repository. The film environment was small and the father was a shift worker. We had a single day to capture the story.
The director did a wonderful job at extracting the emotion of this story from the parents. As a new mother, Perlita recalled the moment she was told she was in labour at 25 weeks and gave no thought to the possibility that Theo would survive. The brief was to deliver a 2:00 minute version with the possibility of shorter cuts required. Upon viewing, Bupa immediately realised the power of this emotional story. We were commissioned to cut a 30 second Cinematic and Television commercial. Both long and short versions reside on social media and have had nearly 300,000 views. Public comment and reaction is very positive of Bupa.
